The
Ina basin in Nagano Prefecture looks up towards the Southern Alps
in the East and the Central Alps in the West with the Tenryu River,
originating from Lake Suwa, passing through.
The Iijima Green Factory is located in the township of Iijima, almost
in the middle of the basin, at the foot of the Central Alpine mountain
range.
The factory looks up towards Mount Utsugi-dake, which Hisaya Fukada
designated as being among the one-hundred most beautiful mountains
in Japan.
With an aim towards a clean and cool climate and with an underground
water vein in the region, we freshly developed the wilds in 1979 to
build a new factory. We transferred our production there from the
main factory with the target of revolutionizing production technology,
improving productivity and expansion of production.
In the new factory, we run the whole process from taking delivery
of the ingredients to the shipment of products. Now, we also produce
other processed foods there as well including instant miso Soup. |
