Pasta with Mushrooms and Miso Cream Sauce

Our liquid formed product, Minute Miso dissolves quick and makes rich cream sauce with a miso flavor. We recommend tagliatelle pasta for a match of this sauce. With its flat shape, the dense cream sauce well-covers the pasta.

Pasta with Mushrooms and Miso Cream Sauce

Ingredients (2 Servings)

  • King Oyster Mushrooms … 40 g (1.4 oz)
  • Shiitake Mushrooms … 20 g (0.7 oz)
  • Mushrooms … 40 g (1.4 oz)
  • Pasta … 200 g (7.05 oz)
  • Bechamel Sauce … 2/3 cup
  • Fresh Milk … 2 tbsp
  • Milk … 2 tbsp
  • Minute Miso … 2 tbsp
  • Garlic … 5 g (0.18 oz)
  • Salt and Pepper … As needed
  • Chives, Butter, Olive Oil … As needed

Recipe

  1. Melt butter with olive oil in a pot or a pan over a low heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until it aromas without burning the garlic.
  2. Add king oyster mushrooms , shiitake mushrooms , and mushrooms.
  3. Add salt and pepper to taste and pour bechamel sauce, fresh milk, and milk; simmer. When sauce thickens, add Minute Miso and remove from heat.
  4. Dish up the sauce with boiled pasta, arrange minced chives on top.

One Point Advice

For individual preferences, less milk and more fresh milk make a thicker sauce. Cheese matches well with the sauce as well. Only adding of the hot water to make miso soup with Minute Miso. For food cooked by boiling or stewing, dressings, and lots of other dishes, Minute Miso is able to provide variety range of dishes.
