Renewed Registration of ISO9001 Expanded Registration to Cover Iijima Green Plant
Hikari Miso Co., Ltd. has been applying for expansion of Quality Management System for the Iijima Green Plant, at the same time as the renewal assessment of ISO9001 in July 2003. Recently, the registration of ISO9001 Quality Management System has been approved, including the Iijima Green Plant, for the development and manufacturing of miso, instant miso soup, soups and miso spices.
We have consistently sought to improve our Quality Management System, even after completing the assessment and registration of ISO9001 at the head office plant in July 2003. By transferring registration early to ISO9001 Year 2000 Edition, we also revised our gProcess Approachh, gSatisfaction of Customersh, gStrengthening the Responsibilities of the Managersh, and gConstant Improvement of Systemsh.Recently, we have introduced this Quality Management System at our leading Iijima Green Plant.
After the renewal screening in July, the renewal of registration and the expansion of registration coverage has been approved. Through this approval, we are able to establish the foundation within the company, in order to manufacture safe and tasty products to customers' satisfaction under consecutive guaranteed quality procedures, throughout every process of manufacturing such as handling of basic ingredients, packaging of miso, and manufacturing of packaged food such as instant miso soup.
We want to keep working at gaining further trust for Hikari Miso Brand, through constant improvement of quality management systems and achieving higher goals for quality.
