Hikari Miso Co. Ltd., employees contributed \124,546 to the UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) Java earthquake relief fund as aid for the victims of the quake, which occurred on May 27th.
Previously, our company contributed cup miso and water wagons as aid for the Niigata Chuetsu earthquake, but concurring with UNICEF's philosophy gthat the survival, protection and development of children are universal development imperatives that are integral to human progress,h we decided to use last October's Pakistan earthquake as an opportunity to cooperate as much as possible with UNICEF's efforts.
