Our instant miso soup, Otokuyo 12Shoku series have been quite popular since their release on last December. We are adding "Otokuyo 12Shoku Mugimiso Awase" and "Otokuyo 12Shoku Koji" to this series on August 1st.
Mugimiso, which is commonly used in the Kyushu region, and Shinshu white miso are blended together to create this "Otokuyo 12Shoku Mugimiso Awase".
Mellow aroma and sweet flavor of mugimiso and umami flavor from Shinshu white miso in the dashi from dried sardines make this miso soup very flavorful.
"Otokuyo 12Shoku Koji" is produced with Shinshu koji miso, which offers sweet umami flavor, making the whole soup very savory with bonito dashi.
White koji miso is generally preferred in the Hokuriku region, however, this product can be enjoyed by customers who care for koji miso more than koshi miso as well.
