On January 16, 2008, we are releasing the "Kodawattemasu Kome-Koshi Type" as the renewed, additive-free miso.
"Kodawattemasu Kome-Koshi Type" came out in fall 2003, as part of our famous "kodawattemasu" series. This shinshu miso offers vivid chrome yellow color and refreshing taste.
During the commercialization of this product, we had reasoned due to its nature, that it needed alcohol additives to preserve the quality. Therefore at the beginning, we sold this product not as additive-free miso.
However, encouraged by the strong requests of our customers, for the safe additive-free miso, we had carried out researches in pursuit of improved fermentation techniques, so that we could produce miso without alcohol additives. As a result, we are delighted to offer this product as the renewed additive-free miso.
This product can be fully enjoyed now, even by the customers who care about the intake of additives.
Our company strives to extensively offer the products of high value, such as organic miso and additive-free miso, in response to the market trend, which seeks after the safety and health in the food.
The renewed "Kodawattemasu Miso Kome-Koshi Type" came, as a result of our efforts mentioned above.
By applying the same principle to our instant miso soup department, we have pursued to attain JAS certification for organic processed food as well. As a result, we were able to release our first organic instant miso soup ("Yuki Sodachi no Omisoshiru" on August 1st).
