On June 2nd, as an exciting addition to our instant miso soup series, we launched "KODAWATTEMASU NIHON NO AJI - HATSUGA GENMAI MISO NO OMISOSHIRU."
Following the ever strong preference in healthy eating, there is a higher interest in bringing Hatsuga Genmai (Sprouted Brown Rice) and minor grains into our daily diet. Compared to white rice, Hatsuga Genmai is richer in vitamins and minerals, and is about 10 times higher in GABA (Gamma Amino Butyric Acid) contents. What is more, because it is sprouted rice, the enzymes are easily activated with the effect of increased sweetness and tenderness, which makes it a revolutionary ingredient for processed rice products.
Where we normally use white rice, Hatsuga Genmai is used as the ingredient for koji. Carefully prepared Hatsuga Genmai is matured for a long time to achieve depth in taste and comforting sweetness. Hatsuga Genmai miso brings new flavour and texture to our instant miso soup series.
Hatsuga Genmai Miso no Omisoshiru is best described as homemade comfort. We have selected kelp stock as the base to keep the soup naturally flavored, and two types of Hatsuga Genmai miso, unstrained and strained, are blended to achieve the best balance in umami and sweetness.
Unstrained Hatsuga Genmai miso leaves an interesting texture in your mouth. Rich in nutrients, Hatsuga Genmai Miso no Omisoshiru achieves the best of both comforting taste and healthy eating. In addition, the other two ingredients of miso, soybeans and salt, are both sourced domestically within Japan, bringing tasty miso soup with added peace of mind into your daily diet.
Assorted packets of ten include three popular ingredients of Wakame Seaweed, Tofu, and Fried Bean Curd. This product is suitable for everyday use.
