On July 22nd, we are launching "Mutenka (Additive-Free) Shinshu Koji Miso" and "Mutenka (Additive-Free) Shinshu Inaka Miso".
As our customers’ interests for safety in food grows higher, the demands for “additive-free miso” in the miso market is growing wider as well.
In the additive-free miso category, our company shares the No.1 volume of sales. As we wish to offer the safe, delicious additive-free miso to more customers by making it easier to purchase, we have decided to strengthen the selection in this category.
We are releasing "Mutenka Shinshu Koji Miso" and "Mutenka Shinshu Inaka Miso" this time.
Customers can choose the variety according to their preferences.
Both varieties are available in 750g and 500g containers, to better serve each household.
Until now, most of the miso that were packaged in 500g containers were considered high class miso, however "Mutenka Shinshu Koji Miso" and "Mutenka Shinshu Inaka Miso" are priced 350yen (without tax) as reference, therefore making them easier to be enjoyed.
"Mutenka Shinshu Koji Miso" offers in harmony, just the right amount of umami flavor and natural sweetness from rice koji.
On the other hand, "Mutenka Shinshu Inaka Miso" offers rich aroma drawn from maturation. It is also characterized by the great balance between salt and umami flavors.
